STORY
Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. Our first date was planned on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year: June 30th, 2021. Like a true gentleman, Pasquale made a dinner reservation at a West Village restaurant. Unfortunately, right before the date, the air conditioning broke down-anyone who knows Pasquale knows that simply wouldn't work. After quickly pivoting to another restaurant, we had many laughs and discovered a shared love of our Italian heritage, travel, food and sports. Fast forward three wonderful years to Taormina: September 28th, 2024. What was supposed to be "just another beautiful trip" to Sicily turned into one of the most romantic moments of our lives. Over a beautiful dinner, with breathtaking views of the ocean, Pasquale popped a very easy question and Mary said "YES"! The story continues...

Elevated summer attire, such as linens and summer dresses. We recommend wedge shoes and wider heels for walking on cobblestone streets and dancing in the piazza.
Ceremony

Chiesa Madre di Santa Maria della Misericordia
The ceremony will take place in a historic Italian church. There will be a full Catholic Mass, and formal attire is recommended. We respectfully ask that shoulders remain covered in church.
Cocktails, Dinner and Dancing

Formal Attire is requested, such as long dresses and suits. Dinner will be on the grass in the olive grove, so a wider heel is recommended.
